Why am I Up Late?

It is 2:30am on a Wednesday morning, and for the first time, I just shared the new project I am currently working on, with the general public on Instagram.

Before getting here; getting the courage to post about it, it was a struggle. Now I have posted in online and the first set of worries or next actions that poured in my head were centered around taking the post down, I am particularly worried that I am not going to get the reception I am looking for and also that people would think I am being too forward.

This project is about Nigerian immigrants who we want to celebrate, and me, being an immigrant as-well, but having arrived this country just recently: the winter of 2019, who currently works in a group home — I just don’t feel worthy enough, am I the right person to be working on this project? am I ready? should I wait a bit more, get a better job, become “worthy” enough to share these stories?
