#Travel
I do not have a name for this just yet, but recently I was presented with the opportunity to travel to Ghana; now this is a place I should I should have visited while I still lived in Nigeria, but I guess now’s the time this is happening. I’d be traveling with my siblings to help a dear friend of our family get married.
I am very excited, most importantly because I get to visit an African country for the first time since leaving Nigeria in December 2019, barely 4 years later. I am particlary curious about my “future” experiences in the country. It is relatively smaller than Nigeria by land mass and population but we share very similarities as West African nations.
I love food and it’s weird how I find it hard to explore foods I am not so familiar with, but of course always ready to at least try. Our foods are not that similar, well except Jollof Rice, but I wonder how I’d receive their cuisine in general. I am looking forward to trying it all.
The warmth, the smell of rain and fresh produce, the food, the PEOPLE!!! I am looking forward to it all.
